To be completely candid – this was my very first newborn session that I have ever done. When Kristen, the mother of this cute family and I did a pre-session consult in their home, I’m sure she could see the relief I felt when she told me she wanted a lifestyle session over a posed, studio session for their newborn son.
Trent and Kristen previously had 3 little boys and have just added baby Hayes to the group, much to his brothers’ excitement. The moments spent in their beautiful home ranged from serene and intimate to rowdy and playful as we did both a newborn and family session. It was such a pleasure to be able to document their story and relationships through these photos.
Once we finished photos in their bedroom, we went down to their living room to create a specific image that Kristen had asked me to make. We snagged their fluffy comforter, put up some sheer curtains for an evenly diffused light source and had the boys snuggle up. I was so happy with the shots we were able to get of these sweet brothers.
